The passive system works without cables or batteries and is therefore particularly resource-saving both during installation (because no additional materials are wasted) and during operation, because no power supply is required. However, the most important environmental aspect of our system is already evident in our general product promise: Thanks to HUM-ID, damage can be detected at an early stage and unnecessary remedial measures can be prevented. Regular, sensor-based monitoring of moisture in roofs, walls and floors can thus minimize one of the biggest environmental problems facing the construction industry. Toxic gases can be produced during the disposal of insulation material and building materials, which is why its disposal additionally causes high costs. Restricting disposal to sections that actually require remediation reduces costs and thus improves the environmental balance. We work in a resource-efficient manner<\/strong><\/a> , both during installation (by avoiding the waste of additional materials) and during operation (by not requiring power supply). However, the most significant environmental aspect of our system is already evident in our overall product promise: thanks to HUM-ID, damages can be detected early on and unnecessary renovation measures can be prevented. In Kooperation mit der Drohnenfirma High Vision geht der erste Dachscanner von HUM-ID in die Luft<\/a><\/strong>. Die Dachfl\u00e4che eines komplett mit Sensoren ausgestattetes M\u00f6belhauses in F\u00fcrth kann mit der Spezialanfertigung ausgelesen werden. Das Pilotprojekt kombiniert die Vorteile einer pragmatischen kameragest\u00fctzten visuellen Dachkontrolle mit dem bewahrten RFID-basierten Kontrollverahren von HUM-ID. In February, the KD1 wetness sensor will be presented to the general public at Dach+Holz in Stuttgart. Based on the proven functional principle of the WD1 flat roof sensors, the new sensor can be applied primarily in the floor area.
