Each Dropline can connect up to 20 measurement points. Each measurement point has an individual identification number, allowing for precise localization of any damage or issues. The individual Droplines are connected to the apartment unit, the Dropline Hub, using flexible and ultra-thin connector cables. Up to six Droplines can be connected to a single apartment unit. The apartment unit can be discreetly housed in the electrical panel. Power supply and data transmission are done through cables, centrally managed through the Dropline Central.

All Dropline apartment units are connected to the Dropline Central via LAN cables through a distribution point. The power supply is also centralized through the building's wiring – so your tenants won't be affected. Through the open-interface Dropline Central, all information from all measurement points, encoded with sequence number, room, and apartment unit, can be transmitted to the building management system. Upon request, an SMS service can be set up using a GPS module, which, in case of damage, sends the location, room, and apartment of the damage to a user-configurable mobile number. Thanks to an intuitive user interface with a touchscreen, system settings and status messages can be configured here.

The Dropline
Herzstück der Dropline-Technologie sind die einzelnen Dropline-Messpunkte. Sie bestehen aus einem neuartigen HUM-ID Sensor in kompakter Bauweise. Jeder Sensor kann Nässe in seiner Umgebung detektieren und ist auf einem Spezialvlies aufgebracht, sowie mit einem Flächensticker versiegelt. Jeder Messepunkt ist mit einem flexiblen Kabel verbunden. Dank der ultraflachen Stecker können pro Dropline bis zu 20 Messpunkte im Abstand von 1-3 Metern miteinander verbunden werden. Die Dropline wird unterhalb des Fußbodenaufbaus entsprechend der Anleitung verlegt und deckt üblicherweise einen Raum (z.B. das Wohnzimmer) einer Wohnung ab.

The apartment unit
Dropline Hub
All Droplines within an apartment converge at the apartment unit, known as the Dropline Hub. Each compact apartment unit contains up to six individually assignable Dropline slots. The Dropline apartment unit is delivered in a convenient DIN rail housing, allowing it to be discreetly installed in the electrical panel of an apartment. Thus, there's no need for an individual connection to the power supply of the rental unit. Power is supplied through the wiring with the house electricity via the Dropline Central.

Dropline Central
The Dropline Central is connected to all integrated Dropline Hubs within the property via cables, ensuring continuous data exchange. Each central unit can connect up to 39 Dropline apartment units (via a distribution point). The control console of the Dropline Central consists of a display that provides all essential status information from the connected Droplines. The Dropline Central can be seamlessly integrated into common building management systems without the need for additional technical complexity. The continuous data stream regarding the moisture status of individual measurement points, including individual identification numbers, room information, and apartment unit identifiers, can thus complement real-time building data effectively.
